Privacy
Short version: there are no accounts, and your saved tabs never leave your device.
What you save stays on your device
Progressions and riffs you save in My Tabs are stored in your own browser (in its local storage). They are not sent to us or to any server, and we can’t see them. Because of that, they don’t follow you to another browser or device. Clearing your browsing data deletes them, and Safari removes a site’s data after about a week without a visit. Use Export all in My Tabs to keep a backup file.
What we collect
- No account, no sign-up, no personal information. We don’t ask for your name, email or location.
- Anonymous visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see roughly where visitors come from (country), which device and browser they use, and which page referred them. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t track you across other websites or build a profile of you.
- Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, handles the request that delivers this site and keeps ordinary server logs, which can include your IP address, as any web host does.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or share your data, because we don’t have any to sell.
- We don’t show ads or use advertising trackers.
- The notes, chords and sounds are all generated in your browser. Nothing you type into the app is uploaded.
